The collection "Purpose, Re-Purposed" is a collection built for movement.

The material is our own production surplus mill-end silks, misprinted cottons, deadstock shirting, bias offcuts, and fragments from previous seasons. The atelier floor became the reserve. Each piece in this collection begins with what already exists.

Value resides in construction. Every remnant carries its own record. Through meticulous auditing and re-tailoring, the intelligence of recovery defines the work. The hand that re-cuts determines proportion. The cloth dictates rhythm. A four-centimeter strip becomes a graphic line that maps the body. A shortened roll creates the arc of a peplum. A collage print sets the cadence of a mini summer dress.

Remnants are catalogued by width, grain, and color. The stock list becomes the first design document.

Bias as Structure forms Narrow strips into binding, piping, and contour. They articulate silhouette and secure the garment. Construction is visible, considered, enduring.

Cut for Retention becomes one of the initial steps in the process. Diagonal and inverted placements utilize each edge. The geometry of the cloth governs the pattern. Seam becomes the signature where as Ruffles, flare, and drape are born from available length. Gravity completes the line.The garment moves because the material allows it.

There is lightness in the work. A misregistered stripe creates play. A colour from deadstock interrupts with clarity. Whimsy emerges through process and revealed through the act of making.
